    অস্যার্থ:- ত্‌ৎকালে এই বিশ্ব- ব্রহ্মাণ্ড ( Universe বা Space অর্থে) তমসাবৃত বা ঘোর অন্ধকারাচ্ছন্ন ছিল। তন্মধ্যে ( তাহার মধ্যে) সনাতন অনিরুদ্ধ ( সূর্য্য) প্রথম প্রকাশিত হইয়াছিলেন।
    (Space এখনও তাই, আপনারা সবাই জানেন, Space ঘোর অন্ধকারাচ্ছন্ন। বরাহমিহিরের অনেক আগে রচিত মহাভারতে একই কথা বলা আছে। যখন অর্জুন, মাতলীর সাথে তথাকথিত * স্বর্গে* যাচ্ছেন, তখন অর্জুনের প্রশ্নের উত্তরে মাতলী বলছেন- হেথায়, সূর্য্য, চন্দ্র, পাবকের আলোক নাই। এই স্থান সকল, তমসাবৃত- আমার সংযোজন)

    এর পরের শ্লোক গুলো বাহুল্য বোধে দিলাম না। এখানে প্রসঙ্গ হীন। কারণ, সেখানে ব্রহ্মাণ্ডের উৎপত্তি নিয়ে ব্রহ্মার প্রশংসা করা হয়েছে। এটা সম্পূর্ণভাবে ধর্মের বিষয়। তাই সেটা এড়িয়ে গেলাম। আমার কাজ হচ্ছে, ধর্মকে বাদ দিয়ে আসল বিষয় নিয়ে বলা।
    এবার ভাস্করাচার্য্য, বরাহমিহিরকে উদ্ধৃত করে গোলাধ্যায়ে বলছেন:-
    সর্বত: পর্বতারাম-গ্রাম-চৈত্য চয়ৈশ্চিত:
    কদম্ব- কুসুম গ্রন্থি: কেশব – প্রসরৈরিব
    নান্যাধার: রবিশক্ত্যৈব বিয়তি নিয়তং তিষ্ঠতী হাস্য পৃষ্ঠে..............
    (আরও আছে, কিন্তু আমাদের আসল জায়গাটা পেয়ে গেছি বলে আর দিলাম না)
    অস্যার্থ:-বিস্তৃত কেশর সমূহ দ্বারা কদম্ব কুসুম ( কদম ফুল) গ্রন্থি যেরূপ পরিবেষ্টিত থাকে, তদ্রূপ পর্বতাদি........ গ্রাম ( আর দিলাম না, পড়লেই বুঝতে পারবেন। চৈত্য হচ্ছে একরকম গাছ, শ্বশানে হয়। এটা কি গাছ, অনেক সংস্কৃত অভিধান খুঁজে; আমি অন্তত পাই নি। ) রবি ( সূর্য্য) শক্তিদ্বারা শূন্যমার্গে অবস্থান কোরছেন।
    আরও বলি এই * নান্যাধার: রবিশক্ত্যৈব* দুটি বাক্যের পাঠান্তর আছে। সেটা হলো - * নান্যাধার: স্বশক্ত্যৈব*। অর্থাৎ- নিজের শক্তি দ্বারা। ঠিক এখানেই বরাহমিহির ভুল করেছিলেন বলে অনেকের মত। আর সেই ভুলটা খনা বা ক্ষণা ঠিক করেছিলেন- *রবিশক্ত্যৈব* বাক্যটি দিয়ে। এর ফলে, বরাহমিহির খনা বা ক্ষণার জিভ কেটে দিয়েছিলেন। ফলে, এই বিদূষী মহিলার মৃত্যু হয়। এখন, ঠিক কি হয়েছিল, সেটা আর জানা যাবে না বা জানার উপায় নেই।
    তবে, * নান্যাধার: রবিশক্ত্যৈব* পাঠান্তরটি পরে এসেছে। আর ঠিক, এটাকেই ফলিত জ্যোতিষে পরে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। সূর্য্য, তাই স্থির এবং পৃথিবী ঘূর্ণায়মান,এই তত্বকে রেখে, সূর্য্যকে গণণার ক্ষেত্রে *নাভি* বলে ধরা হয়েছে। ফলিত জ্যোতিষের ভিত্তি এটাই। আশা করি, বোঝাতে পেরেছি।

    ১) মণি ভৌমিক ঐ কোড নেম গড বই-এ কি এটা যুক্তি সহ ব্যাখ্যা করেছেন, গ্রহ নক্ষত্রের অবস্থান কিভাবে মানুষের ভবিষ্যতকে (বিয়ে চাকরি ইত্যাদি) নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে?

    ২) মণি ভৌমিক কি ঐ বইতে এটা প্রমাণ করেছেন যে আসলে এখনকার আধুনিক পদার্থবিজ্ঞান আর জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞানের যা যা আবিষ্কার - সব হাজার বছর আগে ভারতের মুণি ঋষিরা জেনে ফেলেছিলেন?

    এই দুটোর কোনো একটাও যদি হ্যাঁ হয়, তাহলে বইটা পড়ে ফেলব।

  • সেটা ঐ বই-তে লেখা থাকলে ঘনদাই বা এত আঙুল বেথা করছেন কেনো আর আমরাই বা পড়ছি কেনো। শুরুতেই একটা লিং দেওয়া থাকতো , আর আপনি -আমি পড়ে ফেলতাম :)

    কোনো research paper-এর রেফেরেন্স হিসেবে যে লিস্টি দেওয়া থাকে, তার কোনো একটা র প্রতিপাদ্য যদি মুল পেপার্টার সাথে এক হয় তো পেপার্টা লেখার আর কোনো দরকার থাকে কি? :)

    মণি ভৌমিক আমি পড়ি নি, তবে মণি ভৌমিকের এই বইটি নিয়ে অল্প কিছুকাল আগেই এই গুরুচন্ডালীতেই কিছু আলোচনা হয়েছিল, যাতে করে আমার একটা ধারণা হয়েছিল বইটির সব কথা নির্বিবাদে মেনে নেওয়া যায় না।

    মণি ভৌমিক একজন বড় বিজ্ঞানী হতেই পারেন। কিন্তু তার সঙ্গে তাঁর কথার ভুল ধরা, সংশয়াকুল হওয়া যে স্পর্ধার ব্যাপার, তার মানে যে তাঁকে "অপমান' করা, এমন ধারণা আমার ছিল না।

    হতেই পারে। সেটা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত জাজমেন্ট। কিন্তু এর পরেই "সেই শিক্ষা আমি পাই নি' কথাটা কিছুটা রূঢ় লাগল। লাইনের মাঝখান দিয়ে পড়ে আমি যা পেলাম, এই ধরণের শিক্ষা অতি খারাপ, সিকি এই ধরণের শিক্ষা পেয়ে অভ্যস্ত। আরও সোজা করে বলতে গেলে সিকির শিক্ষাটি যথাযথ নয়।

    এটুকুই খারাপ লাগল। যদি এইভাবে বক্তব্যটা না বলে থাকেন, তা হলে আমি আমার খারাপ লাগা উইথড্র করে নিচ্ছি। আমার বোঝবার ভুল হয়ে থাকতে পারে।
